I am so over Winter...luckily, Spring is on it's way! I'm really looking forward to our next event coming up in exactly two months. Gotta get busy now collecting, cleaning, planting, and creating!

Spring Store Collages
Spring has arrived at Vintage 541! The store is only open about once a month now for sales and special events and so far it is working out great for me and my life. I am able to express my creativity, make a little extra money, and also spend the time with my daughter that she needs. (She has Down syndrome AND autism...an interesting combo when it comes to homeschooling to say the least. Oh and she's a teenager, 15). My sweet girl keeps me busy which is why you don't see me post much these days. Mostly you can find me here facebook.com/vintage541.

Fall Marketplace Just 2 1/2 Weeks Away!
I've got a busy week this week taking care of some not-so-fun personal things...so I'm looking forward to digging in next week and finishing all the fun projects for our Fall event. It's now less than 3 weeks away! We have several wonderful vendors bringing in Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving decor, candles/melts, primitives, handmade signs, and of course antiques and vintage finds.
There will be tasty treats to snack on and a few other surprises too!

Aqua and Orange Fall Decor
I've finally started decorating for Fall in the store. One of the color combinations I wanted to try this year is Aqua and Orange. I found a pair of these adorable rusty aqua children's chairs recently and knew they would be just perfect in the display...
I swapped out eggs for acorns and putka pods in my bird nests for a fall look too...

Fall Marketplace Dates
Hello...yes, I am still here! I hope you are having a great Summer. Ours has been fun and busy! I have taken a vacation from blogging (computer problems, needing to spend more time with my daughter) but I miss it so much and hope to get back in the groove soon.

Spring Flea Market Photos
What a fabulous day we had...the turnout was great, the weather was mostly sunny and in the high 60's, and everyone was in a happy springtime mood! I took these pics before customers arrived so some of the vendors were still setting up. As happens each time I have one of these events, I was so busy all day I forgot to take pics during the sale! We had some wonderful vendors this time and I wish I had gotten more pics of them, but here are some of the vintage, handmade, and decor items they brought...
