Spring Decor

First of all, I am so honored to be featured on Be Inspired Friday at Common Ground!

It means so much to me as a fairly new  blogger just trying to "get my feet wet" so to speak...thank you so much Debra!

One big project I have been slowly tackling is to watermark all my photos. Since I have thousands of them saved on my computer, it will take awhile and it doesn't seem so daunting if I just do a few at a time. This morning, I went through and did a bunch of nest and spring decor photos. I hope you will find some spring inspiration in them...

Be sure to visit Be Inspired Friday at Common Ground for

Happily Ever After in Vintage Frame

I've had this vintage silver swivel frame listed in my Etsy Shop for awhile...I thought it would look nice on a table at a wedding or anniversary party...or even as princess theme decor in a little girl's room. The frame is Art Deco style, probably from the 1920's or 30's.

The Happily Ever After inside was
from a scrapbook page but could easily be replaced with something else.

I'm joining in with Angie at Knick of Time Tuesday. Be sure to visit for more vintage style inspiration!

Primroses in Wire Basket

I couldn't stand it any longer..
even though it's too early to do any real gardening yet, I just had to plant something!

So I took this rusty wire basket I found at a garage sale last summer for $1.00, bought 4 primroses, and scraped up some moss from my yard. One big advantage to living in Oregon is there is always an abundance of moss available!

I attached the wire basket to the wall outside my studio...

lined the front and the sides of the basket with moss...

set the primrose pots in and tucked moss in around the bare spots to hide the plastic pots...

I like how it turned out, I hope it inspires you
to plant a little touch of spring too...

Dreaming of Spring

I am so ready for Spring! We had a couple of near 60 degree days here in Oregon recently, but this week it's back to only highs in the 40's... I can't wait to get out in the garden and feel the warm sun on my face...

a few pics from last year in my garden room...
