Potted Hyacinth

My single potted hyacinth bulb has finally bloomed. Such a small thing, but it really makes me happy!

This is what it looked like a couple of weeks ago. I used an upside down glass
candle hurricane as a cloche when it was just starting to bud...

This single flower smells so wonderful...the scent fills up my little garden room...

Spring is officially here!

  1. Very pretty, Becky! Love the color. Our local grocery store had some hyacinths and daffodils in real terracotta pots for a good price. I'm going to pick up a couple next week to use on my Easter table.

  2. That's so pretty. I enjoyed mine so much when they were in bloom. I love the little vignette. How clever to use the upside down hurricane lamp! I'll definitely be trying that in the future.
